It all makes sense now.  Let’s face it, and if you haven’t known this for a long time now you’re only fooling yourself: there are no other moves to be made.

  1. Bring on spring training – no one else is signing players anytime soon. See what you’ve got with Carp, get Ankiel and Luddy under contract – then roll dice.

    There’s lots of posturing left to be done with free agents.

  2. The thing that disappoints me about the off season is the weird handling of the left side of the bullpen. We had dollars to address the issue and there were decent arms that would not have cost a draft pick. Ohman, Beimel
